If you’re having a hard time running, listen and chant (or whisper) along to marine corps cadence

I couldn’t get to a mile straight of running even though I was really trying. Until I did this. It helps with motivation, distraction from the pain, and even breathing.

This actually works with short songs and jingles that match your breathing pattern. Used to sing kookaburra song when riding my bike up hill to work to get my pace comfortable. 7 miles- up hill- through snow. Just kidding. It was very hilly though.
